ސާބިޔާއަކީ މެދުތެރޭ އަދި އިރުދެކުނު ޔޫރަޕަށް ނިސްބަތްވާ ބިން ބަންދު ޤައުމެކެވެ.

== އަވަސް ކަޅިއަކުން ބަލައިލުމެއް ==
ސާބިޔާގެ ރަސްމީ ބަހަކީ ސާބިޔަން ބަހެވެ. އިނގިރޭސި ބަހުން މި ޤައުމުގެ މީހުންނަށް ކިޔަނީ ސާބްސް ނުވަތަ ސާބިޔަންސްއެވެ. ޤައުމުގެ އެންމެ ބޮޑު ޝަހަރަކީ ބަލްގްރޭޑެވެ. މި ޤައުމުގެ ވެރިރަށަކީ ވެސް މިއީއެވެ. 
މި ޤައުމަކީ ބަރުލަމާނީ ޖުމްހޫރިއްޔާއެކެވެ. ޤައުމުގެ އާބާދީއަކީ 9 މިލިއަނެވެ. އެހެންކަމާއެކު، މިއީ ދުނިޔޭގައި 86 ވަނައަށް އެންމެ އާބާދީ ބޮޑު ޤައުމެވެ. 
ބިމުގެ ބޮޑުމިނަކީ 88361 އަކަކިލޯމީޓަރެވެ. ދުއްވާއެއްޗެހި ދުއްވަނީ ކަނާތްފަރާތުންނެވެ. އިންޓަނެޓް ކޯޑަކީ rs. އެވެ. ކޯލިން ކޯޑަކީ +381 އެވެ. ފައިސާގެ ގޮތުން ބޭނުންކުރަނީ ސާބިޔަން ދީނާރެވެ.

== ޖުޣުރާފީ ==
ސާބިޔާގެ އުތުރުގައި އޮތީ ހަންގޭރީއެވެ.  އިރުމަތީގައި އޮތީ ރުމޭނިޔާ އާއި ބަލްގޭރިޔާއެވެ. ދެކުނުގައި އޮތީ ރިޕަބްލިކް އޮފް މެސެޑޯނިޔާ އާއި ކޮސޯވޯއެވެ. ހުޅަނގުގައި އޮތީ ކްރޮއޭޝިޔާ އާއި ބޮސްނިޔާހެރްޒެގޮވީނާ އާއި މޮންޓިނީގްރޯއެވެ. 

== ތާރީޚު ==
އާސާރީ ހޯދުންތަކުން ދައްކާ ގޮތުގައި ސާބިޔާއަކީ ދިގު އަދި މުއްސަނދި ތާރީޚެއް އޮތް ތަނެކެވެ. މީލާދުގެ ކުރީގެ ފުރަތަމަ ޤަރުނުގައި ރޯމަނުން މި ސަރަޙައްދު ފަތަޙަ ކުރުމުގެ ކުރީގައި ވެސް ސާބިޔާގައި މީހުން ދިރިއުޅެމުން އައިސްފައިވެއެވެ.
މި ގޮތުން އޭރު ސާބިޔާގައި ވަޒަންވެރިވެފައިވާ އެއް ބަޔަކީ ސެލްތުންނެވެ. ސެލްތުން ވަނީ ސާބިޔާ ސަރަޙައްދުގައި ވަރަށް ގިނަ ކިއްލާތައް ބިނާކޮށް، އެތައް ޝަހަރެއްގެ ބިންގާ އަޅައިފައެވެ.
މިއަދުގެ ސާބިޔާ ސަރަޙައްދުގައި ރޯމަން އެމްޕެރަރުންގެ ތެރެއިން މަދުވެގެން 17 ބޭފުޅުން އުފަންވެ ވަޑައިގެންފައިވެއެވެ. 
މިއީ ވެސް ރޯމަން އެމްޕަޔަރގެ ދުވަސްވަރުގައި މި ސަރަޙައްދުގެ މުހިއްމުކަން ދައްކައިދޭ ހެތްކެކެވެ. 
ސާބިޔާގެ ދައުލަތެއް ޤާއިމުވުން ގުޅިފައިވަނީ ބަލްކަން ސަރަޙައްދުގައި ދޮން ސާބުން ވަޒަންވެރިވުމާއެވެ. 
ސާބިޔާގެ މީހުން ނަޞާރާ ކުރުމުގެ އެންމެ ފަހު އަދި އެންމެ ކާމިޔާބު މަސައްކަތްތައް ހިނގާފައިވަނީ ޢީސާއީ މީލާދުގެ 867 އާއި 869 ވަނަ އަަހަރާ ދެމެދުގައެވެ.
މީލާދީން 1459 އާއި 1791 ވަނަ އަހަރާ ދެމެދު ސާބިޔާ ސަރަޙައްދުގައި ހިނގާފައިވަނީ އުސްމާނީންގެ ވެރިކަމާއި އޮސްޓްރިޔާ މީހުންގެ ވެރިކަމެވެ.
ސާބިޔާގެ އިންޤިލާބާއި މިނިވަންކަމުގެ ޙަރަކާތްތައް ހިނގާފައިވަނީ މީލާދީން 1804 ވަނަ އަހަރާއި 1878 ވަނަ އަހަރާ ދެމެދުގައެވެ.
މީލާދީން 1804 ވަނަ އަހަރުން 1817 ވަނަ އަހަރަށް ދެމިގެން ދިޔަ އިންޤިލާބީ ޙަރަކާތަކީ މިއަދުގެ މިނިވަން ސާބިޔާ ޤާއިމުވުމުގެ މައިގަނޑު ސަބަބެވެ. 
އުސްމާނީންގެ ތާރީޚުގައި ފުރަތަމަ ފަހަރަށް މުޅިން ނަޞާރާ އާބާދީއެއް ސުލްޠާންއާ ދެކޮޅަށް ތެދުވީއެވެ. ފުރަތަމަ އިންޤިލާބަށް ފަހުގައި މާ ގިނަ ދުވަހެއް ނުވަނީސް އުސްމާނީން ވަނީ އަނެއްކާ ވެސް މި ސަރަޙައްދުގައި އެމީހުންގެ ވެރިކަން އިޢާދަކޮށްފައެވެ. 
ސާބިޔާގެ ތާރީޚަށް ބަލާއިރުގައި އެންމެ ފުރަތަމަ މިނިވަން ދައުލަތެއް ޤާއިމުވީ މީލާދީން 850 ގައެވެ. މެދުޒަމާނުގެ ރަސްކަން ފެށިފައިވަނީ މީލާދީން 1217 ގައެވެ. 
ސާބިޔަން އެމްޕަޔަރ ޤާއިމުވީ 1345 ގައެވެ. ސާބިޔާގެ މިނިވަންކަން ގެއްލުނީ 1459 ގައެވެ. 
ސާބިޔާގެ އިންޤިލާބުގެ ދުވަހަކީ 15 ފެބުރުއަރީ 1804 އެވެ. ވޮޖްވޮދީނާ އާއި ޔުނިފައިވެފައިވަނީ 25 ނޮވެންބަރު 1918 ގައެވެ. މިނިވަން ޖުމްހޫރިއްޔާއެއްގެ ގޮތުގައި މިހާރުގެ ސާބިޔާ ޤާއިމުވީ 5 ޖޫން 2006 ގައެވެ.

== ޑެމޮގްރަފިކްސް ==
ސާބިޔާގެ ރައްޔިތުން ނިސްބަތްވާ ނަސްލުތަކަށް ބަލާއިރުގައި ހަންގޭރީން، ބޮސްނިއާކުން، އަލްބާނީން، ރޯމާ ޖިޕްސީން، ކްރޮއަތުން، ޗެކުން، ސްލޮވެކުން، މެސެޑޯނިޔަނުން، ބަލްގޭރިޔަނުން، ރުމޭނިޔަނުން، ޖަރުމަނުން، ސީނީން، ހިމެނެއެވެ.
ރޯމާ ޖިޕްސީންގެ ތެރެއިން 500000 އެއް ހައި މީހުން ސާބިޔާގައި ދިރިއުޅެއެވެ.

== ސަގާފަތު ==
ސަގާފަތަށް ބަލާއިރުގައި ސާބިޔާއާ އެންމެ ގާތް ގުޅުމެއް އޮތް އެއް ޤައުމަކީ ރަޝިޔާއެވެ. 
ސާބިޔާ މީހުންނަކީ “މޯސްޓް ވެސްޓަނައިޒްޑް އޮފް ދަ އީސްޓަން އޮތޮޑޮކްސް ޕީޕަލް” އެވެ. މި ތަޢާރަފުން ސާބިޔާގެ މީހުންގެ ސަގާފީ ގުޅުންތައް ހާމަވެގެންދެއެވެ.

== އިޤްތިޞާދު ==
މުޅި ދުނިޔޭގައި ހައްދާ ރާސްބެރީގެ ތެރެއިން 20% ރާސްބެރީ (ނުވަތަ ތޫތު) ހައްދަނީ ސާބިޔާގައެވެ.
އެ ޤައުމުގެ ޖީ.ޑީ.ޕީ ޕަރކެޕިޓާ އަކީ 10810 ޑޮލަރެވެ.

މި ރަށަކީ އާބާދީގައި 1300 އަށްވުރެ ގިނަ މީހުން ދިރިއުޅޭ އަތޮޅުގެ އުތުރު ބިތުގައި އަތޮޅުވެރިކަންކުރާ ރަށް އޭދަފުއްޓާ އެންމެ ދުރުގައި އޮންނަ މީހުން ދިރިއުޅޭ ރަށްރަށުގެ ތެރެއިން ބިމުގެ ގޮތުން އެންމެ ކުޑަ ރަށެވެ.

މި ރަށުގައި ދިރިއުޅެނީ ދިވެހި ނަސްލަށް ނިސްބަތްވާ މުސްލިމުންނެވެ. ވާހަކަ ދައްކަނީ ދިވެހި ބަހުންނެވެ.

==ކައުންސިލް==
މިހާރު ކައުންސިލްގެ އިދާރާ ހިންގާ ޢިމާރާތަކީ ރާއްޖެތެރެ ތަރައްޤީ ކުރުމުގެ މަޝްރޫޢުގެ ދަށުން ސަރުކާރުން ޢިމާރާތް ކޮށްދެއްވާފައިވާ އޮފީހެކެވެ. އެކިފަހަރުމަތިން މަރާމާތުކުރެވި ޚިދުމަތް މިހާރުވެސް ދެމުން ގެންދަނީ މިތަނުގައެވެ.ލާމަރުކަޒީ ޤާނޫނުގެ ދަށުން ކައުންސިލުން އުފެދުމާއިއެކު މިއިދާރާގެ ޖާގާއިގެ ދަތިކަންވަނީ ވަރަށްބޮޑުވެފައެވެ. ރަށް ތަރައްޤީވަމުން އަންނަ ވަރަކަށް ރަށު ކައުންސިލް އިދާރާއިން ރައްޔިތުންނަށް ފޯރުކޮށްދޭންޖެހޭ ޚިދުމަތްތައްވެސް ފުޅާކުރަންޖެހިފައެވެ. އެގޮތުން 2013 ވަނައަހަރުން ފެށިގެން އައިޑީ ކާޑު ހެދުމުގެ މަސައްކަތްވެސް މިއިދާރާއިންކޮށްދެއެވެ.

==ތަޢުލީމު==
ކެންދޫސްކޫލްގައި  ގްރޭޑް 10 ކިޔަވައިދެމުންގެންދެއެވެ. ކިޔަވައިދިނުމުގެ ފެންވަރު ރަނގަޅުވެ އެއްދުވަހުން އަނެއްދުވަހަށް ދަނީ ކުރިއަރަމުންނެވެ. ކެންދޫގައި އެއް ޕްރީސްކޫލް ުރެއެވެ. އެ ޕްރީ ސްކޫލް ހިންގަމުން ގެންދަނީ އަމިއްލަ ޖަމްއިއްޔާއަކުންނެވެ.

==ޞިއްހަތު==
މިރަށުގައި ބަލިމީހުންނަށް ފަރުވާ ކުރުމަށްޓަކައި ސަރުކާރުން ހައްދަވައިދެއްވާފައިވާ ރަނގަޅު ފެންވަރެއްގެ ސިއްޙީ މަރުކަޒަކާއި ޑޮކްޓަރެއްގެ ޙިދުމަތް ލިބެން ހުރެއެވެ. 16ގަޑިއިރު ޚިދުމަތް ދެމުންގެންދާ މިމަރުކަޒުގައި ލެބޯޓްރީއަކާއި ބަލިމީހުން އުފުލުމަށްޓަކައި އެމްބިއުލާންސެއްގެ ޚިދުމަތްވެސް ދެއެވެ. މިރަށުގައި 2 ބޭސްފިހާރަ ހުރެއެވެ. 

މިރަށަކީ އިހުޒަމާނުއްސުރެ ދިވެހި ބޭސްވެރިކަމުގެ މަސައްކަތް ވަރަށް ފުޅާ ދާއިރާއެއްގައި ކުރަމުންއަންނަ ރަށެކެވެ. ރާއްޖޭގެ އެކިހިސާބުތަކުން ދިވެހި ބޭސްކުރުމަށްޓަކައި ވަރަށް ގިނަ މީހުން ރަށަށް އާދެއެވެ.

ރަށުގެ ސާފުތާހިރުކަމާއި އާންމުންގެ ރައްކާތެރިކަމަށްޓަކައި ހިންގޭ ރަށުތެރެ ސާފުކުރުމުގެ ޕްރޮގްރާމްތަކުގެ އިތުރުން ރަށުގެ ސިއްހީ މަރުކަޒުގެ ފަރާތުން މަދިރި އުފެދި އާލާވާ ގޮތަށް ހުންނަ ތަންތަނާއި ތަކެތި ނައްތާލުމާއި މަދިރިން ރައްކާތެރިވާނޭ ގޮތްތަކާއި ބެހޭގޮތުން އާންމުންނަށް މަޢުލޫމާތު ދިނުމުގެ ޕްރޮގްރާމްތައްވެސް ހިންގައެވެ.

==ތާރީޚް==
މި އީ ރާއްޖޭގެ ޤަދީމީ ތާރީޚީ ރަށެކެވެ. އެގޮތުން ކެންދޫ މަޝްހޫރުވެފައިވަނީ ރާއްޖެއިން ފުރަތަމަ އިސްލާމްވި ރަށުގެ ގޮތުގައެވެ. ރާއްޖެ އިސްލާމް ކުރެއްވި  ޔޫސުފް ބަރުބަރީ ފުރަތަމަ ވަޑައިގަތީ ކެންދުއަށެވެ.  ކެންދުއަށް ވަޑައިގެން ކެންދޫގެ މީސްތަކުންނަށް އިސްލާމްދީނަށް ގޮވައިލެއްވުމުގައި ރަށުގައި މަޑުކުރެއްވި ވަގުތު ކޮޅުގައި ނަމާދުފުޅު ކުރެއްވުމަށް ހުންނެވިތަން ނުވަތަ އެމަޤާމް ފާހަގަ ކުރުމުގެ ގޮތުން  ބިނާއެއްވަނީ ހަދާފައެވެ. އެތަނަށް ދީފާއިވާ ނަމަކީ (ތަބްރޭޒްގެފާނުގެ މާޤާމް)  މަގާންފުޅެވެ. އެއީ އެބޭކަލުގެ ހަނދާނުގައި ކެންދޫ ރައްޔިތުން ބިނާކުރެއްވިތަނެކެވެ. 

އެމަޤާމަކީ އެރަށު މީހުން ވަރަށް ހުރުމަތްތެރިކޮށްހިތާ ތަނެކެވެ. ތަބްރޭޒްގެ ފާނުގެ އަސްލު ނަންފުޅަކީ މައުލާނަލް ޙާފިޟު އަބުލްބަރަކާތު ޔޫސުފް ބަރުބަރީ ކަމުގައި އެވޭލާ ޒަމާނުއްސުރެ ދޫމަތިން ކިޔަމުން އަންނާތީ ، ދިވެހިރާއްޖޭގެ ކަންކޮޅުތަކުންވެސް މި ދެންނެވިގޮތަށް އެމަޤާމު މަޝްހޫރުވެފައިވެއެވެ. އެމަޤާމު ފުރަތަމަ ޢިމާރަތްކުރެވުނީ ކޮންދުވަސް ވަރެއްގައި ކަން ތާރިޚީ ގޮތުން އެނގޭކަށް ނެތެވެ. ވޭތިވެދިޔަ ދިގު ޒަމާންތަކުގައި އެމަޤާމް އެތައް ފަހަރަކު މަރާމާތުކޮށް އައު ކުރެވިފައިވެއެވެ. މި މަސައްކަތް ކުރަމުން ގެންދަނީ ކެންދޫގެ ރައްޔިތުންނެވެ.  ކެންދޫގައި ހުންނަ އިސްވެދެންނެވުނު މަޤާމުފުޅަކީ ތާރިޚީ ގޮތުން މުޚިއްމު ތަނެއްގެ ގޮތުގައި ސަރުކާރުން ބައްލަވާ ތަނަކަށް ނުވާކަމާއި ، ރާއްޖޭގައި ހުރި އާސާރީ ތަންތަންކަމަށް ސަރުކާރުން ބައްލަވާ ތަނުގެ ލިސްޓްގައި ހިމަނުއްވާފައިވާ ތަނަކަށް ނުވާތީ 2000 ވަނަ އަހަރުގެ ފަހުން އެމަޤާމުފުޅު ބެލެހެއްޓުން ކެންދޫގެ ރައްޔިތުންވަނީ ދޫކޮށްލައްވާފައެވެ.އެހެން ނަމަވެސް މަޤާމުފުޅު ބައުވެ ވީރާނާ ވަމުންދެއެވެ.

މިރަށުގައި މިހާރު ތިބި މީހުންގެ ތެރޭގައި ލުންފަރެންސް ފަޅުކޮށްފައި ފޭބި މީހުން ހިމެނެއެވެ. ރާއްޖޭގައި ރަސްކަން ކުރި &quot; މާލެއި&quot; އާއިލާގެ ރަސްކަމުގެ ތެރޭން މި ރަށުގެ ބޭކަލުން ވަޒީރުންގެ ތިއްބެވިއެވެ.އަދި ބައެއް ބޭކަލުން އެ އާއިލާގެ ބޭފުޅުން ކައިވެނި ބައްލަވައިގެން އުޅުއްވިކަންވެސް އެނގެއެވެ. މި ބޭކަލުންގެ ތެރޭގައި &quot; ކެންދޫ ވެންގެ ހެލި ކަލޯ &quot; ހިމެނެއެވެ.

==އިޤްތިޞާދު==
ރަށުގެ ރައްޔިތުން ދިރިއުޅުމަށްކުރާ މައިގަނޑު މަސައްކަތަކީ މަސްވެރިކަމާއި، ފަންގިވިނުމެވެ. ރަށުގައި ވަޒީފާ އަދާކުރާ މުވައްޒަފުންނަށްވުރެ ގިނައީ ކައިރި ރިސޯޓްތަކުގައި މަސައްކަތްކުރާ މުވައްޒަފުންނެވެ. ރޭނުމާއި ވަޑާމުގެ މަސައްކަތަކީވެސް މިރަށުގައި މީގެ ކުރީގައި ރަށުގެ މީހުން އާމްދަނީ ހޯދުމަށް ކޮށްއުޅުނު މަސައްކަތްތަކެއް ނަމަވެސް މިހާރު މިމަސައްކަތްތަކުގައި ގިނައިން ހަރަކާތްތެރިވަނީ ބިދޭސީންނެވެ. މަސްވެރިކަން ކުރަނީ މޫސުމަށް ބަލައި އެއިރެއްގައި އޮންނަ އެންމެ ރަނގަޅަށް ނަފާ ލިބޭ މަސްވެރިކަމެކެވެ. އެގޮތުން އެކިދުވަސްވަރު ބޮޑުކަންނެލީގެ މަސްވެރިކަމާއި، ހިބަރުވެރިކަމާއި ފަރުމަހުގެ މަސްވެރިކަމާއި ދޮށީގެ މަސްވެރިކަން ކުރެއެވެ.ގިނަމީހުން ކޮށްއުޅެނީ ފަރުމަހުގެ މަސްވެރިކަމެވެ. މަހުގެ ވިޔަފާރިއާއި ކާބޯތަކެތި ވިއްކުމުގެ ވިޔަފާރިކުރާ ގިނަ ފަރާތްތަކެއްވެސް ދިރިއުޅޭ މިރަށުގައި މާލެދަތުރުކުރާ ބޮޑު ބޯޓަކާއި މީހުން މާލެއާ ރަށާދެމެދު ދަތުރުފަރުތު ކުރުމަށް އަމިއްލަފަރާތެއްގެ ފެރީ ލޯންޗެއްގެ ޚިދުމަތްވެސް  ލިބެއެވެ. މީގެ އިތުރުންވެސް އެއްރަށުން އަނެއްރަށަށް ފަސިންޖަރުން އުފުލައިދޭ އަމިއްލަ ފަރާތްތަކުން ޙިދުމަތްދޭ ލާންޗްތައް ހުރެއެވެ.

ކެންދޫއަކީ އިގްތިސާދީގޮތުންނާއި އުމްރާނީގޮތުންވެސް ކުރިއަރަމުން އަންނަ ބިންކުޑަ މިދެންނެވިފަދަ ހުރިހާ މަސައްކަތްތަކެއްވެސް ކުރަމުން އަންނަ ހަލަބޮލި ރަށަކަށްވާއިރު ހިތާމަޔާއެކު ފާހަގަކޮށްލަންޖެހޭ އެއްކަމަކީ ރަށުގައި ދިރިއުޅެން ޒުވާނުންނަށް ގޯތިނުލިބުމެވެ.
