And the punctuation signs ? Verdy p ༡༩:༣༠, ༢༤ སྤྱི་ཟླ་དགུ་པ། ༢༠༡༠ (UTC) ====Comment on the transliteration script==== Hi Eukesh Dzongkha words often contain vertically stacked ligatures. In Unicode text these are formed by using a set of explicitly combining consonants (U+0F90 - U+0FB8) attached to the base consonants (U+0F40- U+0FB8). The encoding model used in Unicode for the script used to write Dzongkha and Tibetan is therefore quite different than that used for other Indic scripts such as Devanagari. To be useful, and get correct output, an Input method need to use a romanization which preserves the Dzongkha spelling such as Wylie Transliteration or EWTS. Please study these if you are trying to make an Input method for Dzongkha. As you have currently implemented the inkey it is useless for forming conjuncts and it does not insert the <span style="font-size: x-large;">&#x0F0B;</span> character which occurs between every word in Dzongkha. There is a Javascript Wylie input method at http://www.colourcountry.net/tibetan/ ~ perhaps this could be adapted for Dzongkha (and Tibetan) input on Wikimedia projects? CFynn ༠༨:༥༦, ༡༨ སྤྱི་ཟླ་དྲུག་པ། ༢༠༠༨ (UTC) Eukesh Once more may I ask you to kindly please remove your Tranlit script from Dzongkha Wikipedia. It interferes with the standard Dzongkha keyboard, makes editing Dzongkha articles very difficult and so discourages participation on Dzongkha Wikipedia. In other words it is harmful to Dzongkha Wikipedia. This may be one of the reasons why no one is participating here. I know your intention was to be helpful - but in this particular case it isn't. As I think I informed you some time ago, Dzongkha transliteration is *very* different than that used for Indic languages. For instance following normal translitteration (not transcription) the word Dzongkha (རྫོང་ཁ) is translitterated as rdzong kha but, when we type this, your translit script produces "རཛོངཁཨ" instead of "རྫོང་ཁ་". Dzongkha has many unpronounced prefixes and suffixes and requires a tshek character (U+0F0B) between each syllable things which your system doesn't handle. I know your Tranlit script has a check box to turn it off ~ but it is very frustrating to have to do this with each and every edit. Please remove this script ASAP because as far as Dzongkha is concerned it is entirely useless. Thanks CFynn ༠༦:༤༦, ༢༧ སྤྱི་ཟླ་དགུ་པ། ༢༠༠༩ (UTC) : I fully agree. And this bad translietaration script also affects the Newari wikipedia, which is also unusable. In addition Eukesh pretends performing administration of these wikis, runnng bots sending "welcome" messages to any one just visiting the site once in read-only mode (for exampel just to check the existence of an interwiki link from other Wikipedias or from Commons, or even now from Wikidata). His bots is sending messages to user pages, even if theses users have NEVER performed any edit on that wiki and NEVER configured their local user account to disable emails, and to create a minimal user page to indicate that they may be contacted only on other wikipedias using another language they can read. : Now because of his damaging bot, many people are receiving unsollicitated emails massively sent from Wikipedia because of his bots, and because these messages contain texts that are written in a script or language they cannot even decipher, these users are reporting Wikipedia as a source of mail spam. Note that by default, all messages posted to a user page are forwarded by email to the user's email address (this has been used by true spammers that are attempting to post their spew to ALL new users of rarely visited wikipedias. : EukeshBot (the bot that Eukesh is running) should be stopped. He is the real spammer. But what is more damaging is that any one trying to complain to the poster of these unsollicited "welcome" messages are being replied by these users the best they can, but Eukesh does not like the reply and refuses to see that all his works on Tibetan-script wikipedias is completely useless, and in fact damaging. He also reverts our own replies to our own user pages, threatening us that we are spammers ! But the truth is that Eukesh IS the spammer (with its bot), and now your comment, CFynn, confirms that hs work has been damaging to several wikipedias (Tibetan, Newari, Dzonkha) whre he installed those bad scripts. : Please ask other admins to drop all admin privileges from Eukesh (and block also his secondary EukeshBot account). He does not know what he does and he is dangerous for the whole Wikimedian community. : Eukesh won the battle with his bot to fight against all new ones that would try to do something on this site, but he also made the site unreadable, and unusable for any contribution (don't be surprized now that these sites are so rarely used: Eukesh opened on fact the door to let only spammers enter here, and not regular users). : Remove all works performed on this Dzongkha site (notably in stylesheets, and templates that he has blocked from all edits, even if they are completely wrong !), as well as on the Tibetan and Newari sites. Eukesh does not even know the script (look above) so he cannot be useful here as an admin (he should just be just a modest contributor, but his work should be still confirmed by other users knowing the relevant languages). Thanks. An airport consists of a landing area, which comprises an aerially accessible open space including at least one operationally active surface such as a runway for a plane to take off or a helipad, and often includes adjacent utility buildings such as control towers, hangars and terminals. Larger airports may have fixed base operator services, airport aprons, air traffic control centres, passenger facilities such as restaurants and lounges, and emergency services. An airport with a helipad for rotorcraft but no runway is called a heliport. An airport for use by seaplanes and amphibious aircraft is called a Seaplane base. Such a base typically includes a stretch of open water for takeoffs and landings, and seaplane docks for tying-up. An international airport has additional facilities for customs and immigration. In warfare, airports can become the focus of intense fighting, for example the Battle of Tripoli Airport or the Battle for Donetsk Airport, both taking place in 2014. An airport primarily for military use is called an airbase or air station. Most of the world's airports are owned by local, regional, or national government bodies. == Landside and airside areas == Airports are divided into landside and airside. Landside includes parking lots, public transport railway stations and access roads. Airside includes all areas accessible to aircraft, including runways, taxiways and ramps. Access from landside to airside is tightly controlled at all airports, in order to acess airside you must go through passport control and security. Most major airports provide commercial outlets for products and services. Airports may also contain premium and VIP services. The premium and VIP services may include express check-in and dedicated check-in counters. In addition to people, airports move cargo around the clock. Many large airports are located near railway trunk routes. == Air traffic control presence == The majority of the world's airports are non-towered, with no air traffic control presence. Busy airports have air traffic control (ATC) system. All airports use a traffic pattern to assure smooth traffic flow between departing and arriving aircraft. There are a number of aids available to pilots, though not all airports are equipped with them. Many airports have lighting that help guide planes using the runways and taxiways at night or in rain, snow, or fog. In the US and Canada, the vast majority of airports, large and small, will either have some form of automated airport weather station, a human observer or a combination of the two. Air safety is an important concern in the operation of an airport, and airports often have their own safety services. == Terminology == The terms aerodrome, airfield, and airstrip may also be used to refer to airports, and the terms heliport, seaplane base, and STOLport refer to airports dedicated exclusively to helicopters, seaplanes, or short take-off and landing aircraft. == References == 2 6wxyy5m8928uxctexsusx4212qvjw23 Category:User be 14 4191 39920 26529 2026-06-17T15:47:48Z Ясамойла 11935 дапаўненьне 39920 wikitext text/x-wiki Users in this category indicate their knowledge of language བེལ་ཨ་རུས་ཁ.
