یکی از کارهایی که به نظرم می‌تواند خیلی به ویکی‌پدیا و البته علاقه‌مندان تاریخ کمک کند  این است که اگر وقت اجازه می‌داد سالنامه‌ها (یا همان مقالات سال‌های قمری و شمسی) در ویکی‌پدیا را با اطلاعاتی که از کتب تاریخی در ویکی‌نبشته خوانده و هم‌سنجی می‌کنیم تکمیل کنیم. به نظرم این کار به شدت به غنای مقالات تاریخی ویکی‌پدیا کمک می‌کند. Hi all! We have good news to share regarding the ongoing problem with graphs and charts affecting all wikis that use them.

As you probably know, the [[:mw:Special:MyLanguage/Extension:Graph|old Graph extension]] was disabled in 2023 [[listarchive:list/wikitech-l@lists.wikimedia.org/thread/EWL4AGBEZEDMNNFTM4FRD4MHOU3CVESO/|due to security reasons]]. We’ve worked in these two years to find a solution that could replace the old extension, and provide a safer and better solution to users who wanted to showcase graphs and charts in their articles. We therefore developed the [[:mw:Special:MyLanguage/Extension:Chart|Charts extension]], which will be replacing the old Graph extension and potentially also the [[:mw:Extension:EasyTimeline|EasyTimeline extension]].

After successfully deploying the extension on Italian, Swedish, and Hebrew Wikipedia, as well as on MediaWiki.org, as part of a pilot phase, we are now happy to announce that we are moving forward with the next phase of deployment, which will also include your wiki.

The deployment will happen in batches, and will start from '''May 6'''. Hello all! We opened a discussion on Meta about a very delicate issue for the development of [[:m:Special:MyLanguage/Abstract Wikipedia|Abstract Wikipedia]]: where to store the abstract content that will be developed through functions from Wikifunctions and data from Wikidata. Since some of the hypothesis involve your project, we wanted to hear your thoughts too. 

We want to make the decision process clear: we do not yet know which option we want to use, which is why we are consulting here. We will take the arguments from the Wikimedia communities into account, and we want to consult with the different communities and hear arguments that will help us with the decision. The decision will be made and communicated after the consultation period by the Foundation.

امسال، دورهٔ فعالیت ۲ (دو) نفر از اعضای هیئت امنای بنیاد ویکی‌مدیا که توسط جامعه و گروه‌های وابسته انتخاب شده‌اند، به پایان می‌رسد [۱].  
هیئت امنا از تمام اعضای جنبش دعوت می‌کند تا در فرایند انتخاب امسال مشارکت کرده و برای پر کردن این کرسی‌ها رأی دهند.

کمیتهٔ انتخابات این فرایند را با پشتیبانی کارکنان بنیاد ویکی‌مدیا نظارت خواهد کرد [۲].  
کمیتهٔ حکمرانی، متشکل از اعضای هیئت امنایی که نامزد انتخابات سال ۲۰۲۵ برای کرسی‌های منتخب جامعه و گروه‌های وابسته نیستند (راجو ناریستی، شنی ایونشتاین سیگالوف، لورنزو لوزا، کتی کالینز، ویکتوریا دورونینا و إسراء الشافعی) [۳]، مسئول نظارت هیئت امنا بر فرایند انتخاب اعضا در سال ۲۰۲۵ و اطلاع‌رسانی به هیئت امنا است.

* ۱۷ ژوئن تا ۱ ژوئیهٔ ۲۰۲۵: فراخوان نامزدی
* ژوئیهٔ ۲۰۲۵: در صورت نیاز، رأی‌گیری گروه‌های وابسته برای گزینش فهرست کوتاه اگر بیش از ۱۰ نفر نامزد شوند [۵]
* اوت ۲۰۲۵: دورهٔ کارزار تبلیغاتی
* اوت – سپتامبر ۲۰۲۵: دورهٔ دو هفته‌ای رأی‌گیری جامعه

* نشست هیئت امنا در دسامبر ۲۰۲۵: آغاز به‌کار اعضای جدید هیئت امنا

کمیتهٔ انتخابات از میان پرسش‌های ارائه‌شده توسط جامعه، پرسش‌هایی را برای پاسخ‌دهی توسط نامزدها انتخاب می‌کند.  
نامزدها موظف‌اند همهٔ پرسش‌های الزامی را در فرم نامزدی پاسخ دهند؛ در غیر این صورت، درخواست آن‌ها رد صلاحیت خواهد شد.
