I would like to continue protecting and expanding this wiki to the best of my abilities. I have been made a sysop here for more than 4 times, first was a month trial, then a 3 month, a year and so forth. I would like to have permanent adminiship.

* had came up with the idea of the need for this wiki to have its own wiki logo in its language. I requested it on meta by contacting @[[User:Goran tek-en]] who created it (and to whom the credit goes) and wiki logo is found [[c:File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-tum.svg|here]]. Request was [[c:User:Goran_tek-en/discussions/2022#Requesting_a_Wikipedia_Logo|here]].
* transformed the dull home UI (User Interface) into catchy and beautiful style to attract natives that the wiki is actually alive and kicking.
* created loads of automatic home templates that change each day with new content.
* translated the entire wiki alone into local as it was not yet translated.
* uploaded local media found in local areas of interest to the language.
* contacted Wikimedia technical team to add Tumbuka language to the list of wikis with Machine Translation. See [[mw:Topic:Xg4qvcex3fbwmgrt|here]].

It is also important to note that I was not alone on the journey. I also had to seek help from [[User:Caro de Segeda]] who helped to create thousands of articles and hundreds of templates. [[User:CubanoBoi]] helped create alot of articles and customised maps, templates. Other users who played major roles include all other natives such as [[User:Anthonymunthali44]] among others. On translatewiki, I had help from [[User:Amire80]] who walked me through during the translating process, as well as @[[User:Ferien]] who had been correcting me in my earliest days.

Hi all! We have good news to share regarding the ongoing problem with graphs and charts affecting all wikis that use them.

As you probably know, the [[:mw:Special:MyLanguage/Extension:Graph|old Graph extension]] was disabled in 2023 [[listarchive:list/wikitech-l@lists.wikimedia.org/thread/EWL4AGBEZEDMNNFTM4FRD4MHOU3CVESO/|due to security reasons]]. We’ve worked in these two years to find a solution that could replace the old extension, and provide a safer and better solution to users who wanted to showcase graphs and charts in their articles. We therefore developed the [[:mw:Special:MyLanguage/Extension:Chart|Charts extension]], which will be replacing the old Graph extension and potentially also the [[:mw:Extension:EasyTimeline|EasyTimeline extension]].

After successfully deploying the extension on Italian, Swedish, and Hebrew Wikipedia, as well as on MediaWiki.org, as part of a pilot phase, we are now happy to announce that we are moving forward with the next phase of deployment, which will also include your wiki.

The deployment will happen in batches, and will start from '''May 6'''. * transformed the dull home UI (User Interface) into catchy and beautiful style to attract natives that the wiki is actually alive and kicking.

* translated the entire wiki alone into local as it was not yet translated.
* uploaded local media found in local areas of interest to the language.

On translatewiki, I had help from [[User:Amire80]] who walked me through during the translating process, as well as @[[User:Ferien]] who had been correcting me in my earliest days.

Hi all! We have good news to share regarding the ongoing problem with graphs and charts affecting all wikis that use them.

As you probably know, the [[:mw:Special:MyLanguage/Extension:Graph|old Graph extension]] was disabled in 2023 [[listarchive:list/wikitech-l@lists.wikimedia.org/thread/EWL4AGBEZEDMNNFTM4FRD4MHOU3CVESO/|due to security reasons]]. We’ve worked in these two years to find a solution that could replace the old extension, and provide a safer and better solution to users who wanted to showcase graphs and charts in their articles. We therefore developed the [[:mw:Special:MyLanguage/Extension:Chart|Charts extension]], which will be replacing the old Graph extension and potentially also the [[:mw:Extension:EasyTimeline|EasyTimeline extension]].

After successfully deploying the extension on Italian, Swedish, and Hebrew Wikipedia, as well as on MediaWiki.org, as part of a pilot phase, we are now happy to announce that we are moving forward with the next phase of deployment, which will also include your wiki.

Hi all! We have good news to share regarding the ongoing problem with graphs and charts affecting all wikis that use them.

As you probably know, the [[:mw:Special:MyLanguage/Extension:Graph|old Graph extension]] was disabled in 2023 [[listarchive:list/wikitech-l@lists.wikimedia.org/thread/EWL4AGBEZEDMNNFTM4FRD4MHOU3CVESO/|due to security reasons]]. We’ve worked in these two years to find a solution that could replace the old extension, and provide a safer and better solution to users who wanted to showcase graphs and charts in their articles. We therefore developed the [[:mw:Special:MyLanguage/Extension:Chart|Charts extension]], which will be replacing the old Graph extension and potentially also the [[:mw:Extension:EasyTimeline|EasyTimeline extension]].
